I began at the age of six to colour my childhood expressions on drawing paper.
I started my professional training at fourteen, continuing with collegiate study of
Graphic Design and received my B.F.A in 1996, followed by M.F.A. in 1999.
Much of my works inspirations came from ten years of tutoring children in illustration and painting in Tehran; an experience that was both fulfilling and instrumental in deepening my sense of artistry.
Playing classical guitar, xylophone and sol-fa, also stimulated my creativity in presenting visual impressions. Since taking up residence in England, I have been seeking knowledge and expressing art through competitive exhibitions in both physical and cyber space galleries, as well as experiencing new skills in illustration and print. Most of my new audiences are from Western Europe and North America. I have continued to teach painting, illustration techniques and computer graphics & Internet basics in Hastings to private pupils, also as an assistant instructor in Conquest hospital and EAZ association
